An Indian film and television actor in Hindi and Marathi languages. He is well known for his role of Kondaji Baba Farzand In Swarajyarakshak Sambhaji, on Zee Marathi. He is also well known for his role in the Marathi TV show on ETV Marathi called Char Diwas Sasuche, where he played the character Ashok Deshmukh for 3,600 episodes. He has also worked in Hindi films such as P Se PM Tak and Hollywood Film Remember Amnesia.

He has acted in numerous Marathi- Hindi tv-serials, movies and theatre and has won applauds from many noted professionals.He is a businessman and hotelier who owns and runs restaurants like Hotel Rajpurush and Hotel Karnivaal


Early Life and Education

Aanand Kale was born on 28th September 1972, in Kolhapur, Maharashtra. He currently resides in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. Kale completed his primary schooling in Kolhapur from Maisaheb Bawdekar School. He completed his Senior Secondary Certificate from Private High School and went on to graduate from DRK College of Commerce, Shivaji University.

In his college days, Kale had a keen interest in football. He also participated in various biking and racing events. He currently pursues photography as a hobby in his free time.


Career

Kale began his career with Marathi Theatre and performed in a few indie plays in his early days. He is associated with Pratyay Group of Theater activities. He performed in various plays like the Marathi adaptation of William Shakespeare's King Lear which coined Raja Lear which was translated by renowned writer, Poet Vinda Karndikar. He portrayed the role of Edmund who is the main lead in the play and performed in places like NSD, Delhi and the Nandikar Festival in Kolkata. He performed in various other plays across the country. Aanand is also associated with various TV shows and plays a prominent role in most of his television portrayals. His most famous role was in a TV show aired on ETV Marathi which was known as Char Diwas Sasuche. Kale played the role of Ashok Deshmukh in the series and was a part of the show for a count of 3600 episodes. He continued his TV career and later ventured into Marathi films. He played the lead role in quite a few Marathi films, before he was signed on to star in a Hindi film. His Hindi film debut happened with the movie P Se PM Tak which was directed by Kundan Shaha. Kale is currently working on a TV show called Tujhya Vachun Karmena which airs on Colors Marathi and plays a vital role in the show. Tujhya Vachun Karmena is a running show that deals with family life and issues.

In his college days, Kale had a keen interest in football. He also participated in various biking and racing events. He currently pursues photography as a hobby in his free time.

His production house, Mahalaxmi Cine Services, was very recently involved in the production of a Hollywood film named Remember Amnesia in Kolhapur. Kale worked as the producer for this film and even got media coverage for bagging a Hollywood film.In 2006, Kale began a film production house under the name Mahalaxmi Cine Services. This production house dealt in the supply of shooting equipment such as lights, generators, cranes, cameras, vanity vans and also leased out the labor strength of skilled workers. Mahalaxmi Cine Services went on to associate with over 200 TV productions like Tuzyat Jeev Rangala, Ratris Khel Chale,Gav Gata Gajali, Ratris Khel Chale 2, and films like Balgandharva, Natarang, popat, padmaawat, a few ad films of Lintas etc. Kale also worked as a line producer for his firm.

In November 2000, Kale began as an hotelier by establishing Hotel Rajpurush in Kolhapur, which became well-known around the local area for its unlimited, pure vegetarian thali. Kale made sure he was running Hotel Rajpurush not only as a restaurant but also as a place of accommodation. In the year 2012, Aanand Kale ventured into another hotel called Hotel Karnivaal.. This hotel was also situated in Kolhapur and run by Kale. Kale is also associated with his family business called New Ganesh Arts, who are manufacturers of statues made of fiber and plaster. Kale was a contributor of these statues and was recognized for his sculpting
